Unai Emery's side might be without the world's most expensive player for Sunday's Parc des Princes clash.

On Sunday, PSG will lock horns with Marseille in Le CLassique. Parc des Princes will be the venue for this Ligue 1 clash, with both sides eyeing victory.

Unai Emery’s side enjoys a 12-point lead at the top and sits 13 points ahead of their Sunday opponent, meaning bragging right is the biggest thing at stake.  Nonetheless, with these two sides facing off in the French Cup quarter-final three days later, triumph would earn the victors a confidence boost ahead of their next meeting.

Unfortunately for Les Parisiens, star attacker Neymar is a huge doubt. The Neymar has missed out on a few training sessions due to illness, with their manager giving insight into his issue in a press conference.

"I'm not a doctor, the club doctor simply told me that Neymar is sick,” Emery said, as per The Sun.

"Neymar is sick, I hope that he will be well enough to train on Saturday and then play on Sunday.

"It wasn't an injury issue, it was gastroenteritis and some fever, similar to what Lass Diarra had yesterday."

It appears a bug is spreading around in the PSG camp, with their Brazilian ace coming down with this infectious diarrhea. However, the Selecao sensation still stands a chance of featuring.

Emery also promised that Neymar will show maturity on the pitch if he recovers in time for Sunday’s game. The 26-year-old was sent off for headbutting an opposing player in his last run-in with Marseille, but his gaffer insists a repeat will not happen.

"He won't make the same mistakes,” the manager added.

"Neymar will be very prepared to play a great game."
