FA Cup's magical nights are back, and a lower-tier team made the impossible possible when they managed to beat Manchester City despite being dominated for almost the entire game.
A single goal by Will Grigg made Wigan fans go berserk, and proved all of Manchester City's attempts to be futile. The League One side will now face Southampton in the next stage of the competition, giving Pep Guardiola and Co. more time to focus on the English Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and the League Cup final.
Wigan made the most out of their chances, as they transformed one of their two shots on goal into the game-winning strike. Possession, as you will find out in the next picture, is not what football's all about.
Things started going sideways for the Citizens, and Pep Guardiola didn't take Fabian Delph's red card lightly, sparking an argument inside the tunnels leading to the locker rooms.

Needless to say, social media users had a field day after the Citizens' elimination from the tournament was confirmed. Have a look at their comments.
Who could stop Man City this season? Barca, Real, PSG or maybe Bayern?

Correct answer: Wigan
Football is a funny old game
If Wolves and Wigan were in the Premier League, we might actually still have a title race in February

City fans saying 'But, but you lost to Bristol.' Bristol are a division above and ran Manchester City close, a club described by Pep himself as 'Premier League side in the making.' Wigan are in League One. You spent £500M. Sit down and take 2 Ls. One from QuadrupLe & TrebLe. pic.twitter.com/7NCPVTdGEo

Wigan's PA man playing Oasis at the final whistle there is elite level trolling. I admire that.

Imagine buying a whole new defence and then losing to League One Wigan Athletic. Ah, I love this game.

Manchester City have spent more than twice as much on players this season than Wigan have spent in the last 25 years. Football is hilarious sometimes.
