The French manager made a big change to his starting eleven in Wednesday night’s blockbuster game.

Various predicted lineups suggested that Zinedine Zidane might feature his much-favored BBC attacking trio in the first-leg of the UCL Round of 16 tie with Paris Saint-Germain. However, the former Galactico has rather introduced Isco into what is a midfield diamond setup for Los Blancos.

The Welshman’s exclusion comes as a bit of a surprise considering he has been in very fine form and has put in some standout performances for the current UEFA Champions League holders since returning from injury. In the PSG camp veteran defender and skipper, Thiago Silva, was also surprisingly dropped.

He was replaced by the young Kimpembe who will now partner Marquinhos at the back. PSG’s midfield also features the Adrien Rabiot and Marco Verrati. Giovani Lo Celso maintains his spot in the starting lineup with Thiago Silva still recuperating an injury. In-form Angel DI Maria starts on the bench with Unai Emery going with his much preferred Neymar, Cavani and Mbappe attacking trio.
