The Hammers have slammed claims that suggest that manager of the club David Moyes will be shown the exit door regardless of the outcome of their season.

The Scottish manager’s side has hit a rough patch in recent times despite their promising start to life in the league after he replaced Slaven Bilic back in November.

The London club has failed to record a single win in its last three Premier League games and, as a result, currently sits 12th on the league log with just three points separating them from the relegation zone.

According to a news report by The Telegraph, things are hotting up behind the scences at West Ham. As such, there is the possibility of David Moyes being kicked out, with ex-Watford manager Marco Silva lined up be his successor.

Nevertheless, West Ham’s hierarchy has since set the record straight with reference to the claims established by the English paper. A statement released by the spokesperson of the club reads as follows:

"The club would like to place on record that it categorically refutes the claims made by the Daily Telegraph regarding manager David Moyes.

"There is absolutely no truth whatsoever to this story. As previously stated on a number of occasions, the club and David Moyes agreed on a deal until the end of the 2017-18 season, at which point both parties will sit down and discuss the future.

"Until then, the board and David Moyes will continue to work closely together with the manager having full responsibility of footballing matters and the full support of the board. Everyone`s sole focus is on trying to achieve results for West Ham United."
