Higuain hits three as Juventus blasts 7 past Sassuolo

February 4, 2018 By Emmanuel K. Budu-Annor
The Argentine bagged a hattrick in his side’s rampage in the game against Sassuolo on Sunday afternoon.

It was a perfect day in the office for the Bianconeri after ruthlessly finishing off Sassulo via a 7:0 scoreline. The Old Ladies took barely 10 minutes to unlock the defense of Sassuolo through a goal by fullback Alex Sandro.

Sami Khedira got his side’s second inside the 24th minute and added a third three minutes later. Midfielder Miralem Pjanic was in on the action with a fourth for the hosts before Gonzalo Higuain emphatically blew the visitors into oblivion.

The 30-year-old forward took home the match ball by scoring thrice in the latter part of the game, with his first coming three minutes after the hour mark.

His second and third followed suit on the 74th and 83rd minutes, respectively, to ensure that the former Real Madrid and Napoli man gets his first hattrick as a Bianconeri in 87 matches.
