Italian agent Mino Raiola shared his thoughts on the deal since one of his clients is being involved in the matter.

With only hours left for the official announcement of the deal between Alexis Sanchez and Manchester United, a third party has revealed there might be one small setback before the transfer is made official.

Flamboyant agent Mino Raiola, known for representing players such as Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, admitted today that Henrikh Mkhitaryan could be crucial in this operation, as he is yet to reach an agreement with Arsenal, since he's been included in the deal to have Sánchez joining the Red Devils.

"Manchester United is not going to sign Sanchez unless Mkhi agrees to join Arsenal. Mkhi has not decided yet. Mkhi is going to do what is best for him. He has two-and-a-half years left on his contract, so it's his decision," Raiola told The Times.

The Armenian playmaker has failed to impress under José Mourinho for the past 18 months, but Arsene Wenger has shown interest in having the player around. With Sánchez having allegedly reached an agreement with the Red Devils, it's up to Mkhitaryan to decide where he wants to continue his playing career.

Reports state that Sánchez could become the best-paid player in the Premier League, and Manchester United are looking to include Mkhitaryan in the deal along with a £35M fee. Initially, Arsenal wanted a straight cash deal, but a player-plus-cash scenario would be ideal for Wenger, since he wouldn't need to find a replacement for the Chilean.

Neither player was involved in their team's games this weekend, prompting rumors about their future. Only time will tell if the deal will take place before the end of the week.
