4 facts after Tuesday's Boxing Day games

Four facts following Tuesday's Boxing Day matches in the EPL

December 26, 2017 By Oscar Rojas
Harry Kane's hat-trick, Manchester United's draw and Liverpool's comfortable win were some of the highlights of the evening.

Matchday 20 in the English Premier League is two matches away from being over, and fans from around the world rejoiced with all the goals and the stories emerging from the eight games that took place today.

Earlier today, Harry Kane's hat-trick saw him become the top scorer of the year, surpassing Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo with his 56-goal haul with Tottenham and with the English National Team.

Here's how the player celebrated on social media.

The next team to take center-stage was Manchester United, who failed to beat Burnley but eventually saved one point, keeping their second place unscathed. This was the 20th time a team coached by Mourinho went down 2-0 at some point, and it was just the second time in which his teams walked away with one point.

Manchester United fans are growing increasingly frustrated with José Mourinho's tactics.

At least, Jose Mourinho hit the nail on its head when he sent Jesse Lingard into the pitch, as the Englishman scored both goals for the Red Devils.

Mourinho's former club, Chelsea, celebrated one more victory under Antonio Conte, capped by the antics of their Spanish duo: Cesar Azpilicueta and Alvaro Morata.

The last game of the evening saw Liverpool destroying the EPL's worst team. During that game, the Reds confirmed just how dangerous their attack can be.
