Despite being eliminated from the World Cup, neither Chile nor Italy saw their previous rankings' change.

Current FIFA World Cup champions Germany held their spot at the top of FIFA's monthly ranking, which was issued earlier today.

With virtually no international games played this month, there was almost no movement among the first fifty teams. Serbia (36th), Bosnia (37th) and Australia were the first teams to move up one spot in the ranking, while Ghana was the only team able to join the Top 50 teams.

Despite their failure to qualify for the World Cup, Chile(10), Italy(14) Wales (19) and The Netherlands (20) kept their spot in the ranking, although that will certainly change on January 18, when the next ranking is released.
