The Polish striker had harsh words for Carletto's training methods, which have made some of his team-mates injured throughout the season.

Carlo Ancelotti's departure from Bayern Munich left several dry eyes among his players, and today's statements by Robert Lewandowski are enough evidence to support that claim.

Speaking to Sport Bild, the Polish striker referred to his former boss' training methods, which have caused some of his team-mates to miss several games due to injuries.

"If you want to know the reason for so many muscular injuries, then you have to look at the training methods we were subject to a couple of months ago. The real reason to it is there, not in our training sessions for the past few weeks," Lewandowski said.

The Polish ace kept on criticizing Ancelotti's methods, especially because they lacked intensity and even forced some of his team-mates to schedule personal training sessions.

"When you keep training like that, then it's your duty to do something about it individually," the player added.

The 29-year old has scored 18 goals in all competitions for Bayern Munich, who have risen from the ashes to take the top of the Bundesliga by storm. Curiously, their rise to the top came after Carlo Ancelotti was sacked.
