Arsenal sets record in Burnley win
On Sunday, Arsenal scored in the 90th minute via an Alexis Sanchez penalty to beat Burnley. If this sounds familiar, it’s because it has happened before in a clash between the Gunners and the Clarets.
In fact, this was the third consecutive encounter between these two sides in which the winner was scored in the 90th minute – a Premier League first.
Man City still looking like title favorites
Only 13 games have passed, but Man City already has 37 points. This is the best points total at this stage of the competition in English top-flight history. Guardiola’s side continues marching towards the title.
Liverpool: Conte’s Achilles heel?
Antonio Conte tore apart the league last season en route to the title. Even this season, the Italian has gotten the better of a few teams.
However, of the 19 teams Conte has faced in the Premier League, there is only one team he has failed to beat: Liverpool. That run continued on Saturday, as the Blues drew 1-1 at Anfield.
Man United equals unbeaten record
Man United’s fortunate 1-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion took the Red Devils’ unbeaten run at Old Trafford to 39 games. That equals the club’s longest unbeaten home run, set by the Busby Babes in 1966.
