A month or so ago, Monaco vs. PSG would have been the premier match in Ligue 1. However, Les Rouges-et-Blancs have hit a rough patch as of late and now have slipped six points behind Les Parisiens in the league standings. Things have gone horribly awry for Leonardo Jardim's men in the Champions League as well, where they were eliminated in the group stages after failing to pick up a single win. By contrast, Unai Emery's side have cruised through their qualifying process, including humiliating Bayern Munich and crushing Celtic 7-1 in their last match to top their group.
Both Djibril Sidibé and Thomas Lemar are in doubt due to injury, while PSG only will be missing veteran midfielder Thiago Motta. Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappé, who didn't feature in PSG's win over Nantes, is set to make an appearance agianst his former side for the first time since making a move on loan at the end of this summer's transfer market.
