The team's Twitter feed revealed the news while answering a fan's question about why the player was left out of this weekend's roster.

The game that will kick off Matchday 12 in the Bundesliga will have one key absence, as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was left out of Borussia Dortmund's squad that will face Stuttgart on Friday.

Apparently, the club didn't like Aubameyang's recent trip to Barcelona, where he visited former Dortmund wingman Ousmane Dembelé. Added to that, he had a night out with his brother Willie, with both of them visiting a night club, forcing the team's hiearchy to leave him out of the game against Die Schwaben.

The team's Twitter feed revealed the news after a fan asked why the player wasn't included in the roster for Friday's match.

"Aubameyang has been dropped from tomorrow's squad for disciplinary reasons."

This isn't the first time in which Aubameyang has been handed a similar ban. Last season, the player was dropped from the squad that played against Sporting Lisbon after he decided to travel to Milan in order to celebrate a friend's birthday.

The length of the current punishment hasn't been revealed by Dortmund's boss or execs.
