The Brazilian striker stepped up to deny rumors about his relationship with Unai Emery, but the words from Brazil's coach stole the show.

What was expected to be a usual press conference saw Neymar showing his soft side.

The player answered questions in regards to some reports about his bad relationship with PSG's coach Unai Emery and fellow striker Edinson Cavani. Nevertheless, it wasn't Neymar's words that made headlines, it was his coach's defense that really stole the show.

Just as Neymar was answering the final question, Brazil's coach Tite interrupted his pupil to defend the striker from claims about his rude behavior or lack of empathy with coaches.

"We have been working together for a year and a half, and I'm tired of hearing that Tite has problems with Neymar, because of his enormous character, of his influence in the dressing room. We are not perfect, we are human beings and sometimes we react in the wrong way. It happened to me in my career, is it wrong?," Tite stated.

As the coach carried on, Neymar began to show signs of being touched by his words, finally breaking out in tears.

"There are a number of circumstances to take into account and we must be careful not to generalise. We should be talking about the character, the nature and the great heart that Neymar has," Tite added.
