Barcelona's injury list grows after UCL draw

Barcelona handed two injury blows following draw vs Olympiakos

November 1, 2017 By Oscar Rojas
Los Blaugranas will have to deal with a couple of absences in midfield following the international break taking place next week.

Barcelona's trip to Greece will give Ernesto Valverde a couple of headaches, as two players will miss all of November's games due to injury.

Sergi Roberto and André Gomes walked out of the game against Olympiakos with similar muscular problems. After each player had a battery of tests performed on them, the team's medical staff revealed that the Spanish footballer will be out for at least five weeks, while the Portuguese player misses out on the next four weeks.

With these injuries, Ernesto Valverde will have plenty of work on his hands, as he'll only have four midfielders available for the next few weeks: Busquets, Rakitic, Paulinho and Denis Suárez will try to live up to the fans' expectations, as the team's doctors work overtime to get Andrés Iniesta back fully fit to help out.

Barcelona's next outing will be against Sevilla, one of the most consistent teams in La Liga during the past few years.
