Kaka has been promised at least 15 minutes of football on his return to action ahead of Monday night’s Getafe vs Real Madrid La Liga match.
This decision is from the ‘Special One’ himself – Jose Mourinho.
Kaka has not enjoyed a single moment on the pitch for Real Madrid this season. The Brazilian star complained about knee problems during Los Blancos’ preseason tour and eventually underwent surgery through medical advice.

Since then, Kaka has been a spectator at Real Madrid instead of the player everyone wanted to see following his $89million transfer from AC Milan to the Spanish capital back in 2009. In the meantime, he had also been spending many hours working on his fitness.

Last month, Kaka returned to training with the rest of his Real Madrid team mate with Jose Mourinho explaining that he wanted the star midfielder to get used to the atmosphere in Los Blancos’ camp. Apparently, progress has gone better than Real Madrid’s doctors imagined as Kaka is now ready for the Getafe match instead of waiting until January 6 to make his first appearance this season against Levante.

“Against Getafe, Kaka won’t be a starter,” Coach Jose Mourinho revealed on Sunday ahead of Real Madrid’s derby match in La Liga.

“For the moment, I will give him 15 to 20 minutes.”

Kaka will hit number 34 in all competitions and 26 in La Liga in terms of appearances for Real Madrid. Presently, the Brazilian play maker has 9 goals and 8 assists to his credit in total for the Spanish giants.

Marking his step-by-step comeback with some valuable contribution against Getafe tonight will be a wonderful achievement and a moral booster for the Real Madrid midfielder. The few minutes that he is set to play against the Azulones could mean a positive start for Kaka as the year 2011 has just started Jose Mouriho's men.
