Getafe are plotting to offer Real Madrid a big surprise to mark the New Year. The Azulones are dreaming of overpowering Los Blancos in La Liga’s Getafe vs Real Madrid derby on Monday.
Captain Manuel Del Moral is not afraid to make wishes. Although his team are well behind Real Madrid in seventh position, the Getafe skipper is confident that match-day 17 could offer a big blow for La Liga title challengers Real Madrid.

The season is still an exciting one for the Azulones who are on track to grabbing an European finish at the end of this season. Four wins on the trot have helped them regain momentum following their disappointing defeats to Bilbao, Barcelona and Valencia respectively. Now, Del Moral is eying a fifth consecutive victory ahead of the mouth-watering Getafe vs Real Madrid match.

“Our stadium doesn’t suit them well. We can surprise them,” the skipper told reporters as he spoke about the Spanish giants.

“I believe in our team and I believe in the weapons that we’ve got at our disposal.”

Real Madrid will hope that the comments of Getafe’s Manuel Del Moral are just part of a dream that will never materialize. The fact is that Los Blancos can't afford to lose points knowing that Barcelona will most probably win some at home to Levante on Sunday.
