Disregarding all dressroom codes, Claudio Bravo's wife, Carla Pardo, had some harsh words for her husband's team-mates after the nation's elimination from the World Cup on Tuesday.
Using her Instagram feed, Pardo criticized some of La Roja's players for not going the extra mile to help the team. Pardo went as far as to accuse some of her husband's team-mates for their "relaxed" social life.
"Thanks to our National Team for all the great moments. Thank you, my 'Captain America' for everything we've been through. It was beautiful. But when you wear La Roja's jersey, you have to be a pro. I know most of the players busted their butts, while others were partying and couldn't train the day after because they were still drunk from the night before. Those who fit that description should stop their crying, because today, a whole nation is doing the same. We'll be waiting for you with open arms, my captain"
Pardo's words come after Chile bottled their chances of playing in the 2018 World Cup by losing 3-0 against Brazil. During that game, her husband was slammed by fans and experts for not holding onto the ball. The Chilean's unimpressive display led the way to Brazil's goal scoring fiesta after this goal.
