Tropical Storm Nate had a heavy impact on Costa Rican soil, forcing authorities to re-schedule the game originally scheduled for Friday.

Due to the current state of emergency declared by the Costa Rican government, the game between Los Ticos and Honduras will be re-scheduled for Saturday.

After assessing the damage sustained in Costa Rica due to the tropical storm "Nate", both football federations issued press releases to announce the decision. As of now, Costa Rica needs one point to secure their spot in the 2018 World Cup, while Honduras needs the win to keep their hopes alive of snatching the last World Cup ticket available from Panama´s hands.

The game will be played on Saturday, October 7, at 15:00 PT/ 18:00 ET
