Preview

Playing at Stoke is never an easy thing - just ask Manchester United, who ended up conceding their first two goals and dropping points a couple of rounds back. However, Mark Hughes has a frustrating record when it comes to taking on Chelsea. This will be his 24th meeting with the London giants, and it goes without saying that the Blues have left him feeling, well, pretty blue.

Out of his prior 23 meetings, he has lost 15 and conceded 43 goals, which averages out to nearly two per game. That's more than against any other club, and Antonio Conte will be hoping to heap more misery on his tactical counterpart after Chelsea failed to find a breakthrough at Stamford Bridge in last weekend's huge clash against Arsenal.

Chelsea will be missing David Luiz due to suspension, which means that likely Danish youngster Andreas Christensen will fill in for him, whilst new signing Danny Drinkwater will again miss out due to an ongoing calf problem. Other from that, Conte should have everyone available for this match.

Meanwhile, Kurt Zouma won't be able to feature against his parent club due to an agreement in his loan deal, whilst Ibrahim Afellay and Stephen Ireland are still long-term absentees. Geoff Cameron is another one who misses out as a result of a hamstring injury.
