Team news

Tottenham are looking to improve on their Champions League record. Pochettino’s men have only won two of their last nine games in this competition. However, they have a few worries that might damage their chances.

The north London giants will be without star midfielder Dele Alli, who is suspended for three games. This will hamper Spurs’ chances going forward, as the Englishman has been an excellent attacking threat.

Erik Lamela (hip), Danny Rose (knee) and Victor Wanyama (knee) remain on the sidelines, leaving Pochettino with a selection headache. Serge Aurier is in contention to make his debut.

Groin injury will keep Dortmund defender Marc Bartra out of the lineup. Furthermore, they will be without captain Marcel Schmelzer  for seven weeks.
