Although Manchester City are unbeaten in their first three matches, Pep Guardiola's men haven't exactly hit the ground running. The Sky Blues have scored just five goals thus far, and they were quite fortunate to salvage a draw against Everton, whilst they struggled to earn all three points against Bournemouth and Brighton. The fact that they sit behind a side like Huddersfield Town on goal difference certainly isn't encouraging, but it's still early enough in the season that the team's new signings can get settled in and Guardiola will certainly hope that the international break will see his players return refreshed and ready to get back to work.
Raheem Sterling will miss this fixture against his former side due to a ban, whilst Vincent Kompany reportedly suffered another calf injury on international duty and will likely miss out. However, Kyle Walker will be welcomed back into the fold after making his return from suspension.
Liverpool
By contrast, Liverpool certainly have no problems scoring. The Reds crushed Arsenal 4-0 in their last fixture before the international hiatus and definitely will be brimming with confidence ahead of this fixture. Jurgen Klopp also has a great record against Pep Guardiola-managed sides, and has won five out of his past 10 meetings against the Spaniard extending back to their days when they managed Dortmund and Bayern Munich respectively and will be hoping to further extend that record on Saturday. New signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be making his debut after being brought in from Arsenal, and although Philippe Coutinho did not leave for Barcelona during the transfer window, he isn't expected to feature for Liverpool during this match.

Chelsea aiming to end September traveling woes
Leicester City
It's been a frustrating start to the season for Leicester, who have won just one of their first three games. That being said, Craig Shakespeare's men have had to take on both Arsenal and Manchester United on the road during that time, and have been dealt a bitter blow as key midfielder Danny Drinkwater has followed in the footsteps of N'Golo Kante and moved to Chelsea. To make matters worse, Leicester has been unable to formally register their replacement, Adrien Silva due to getting in his registration 14 seconds past the deadline, and despite paying €30 million for the Portuguese international, his status remains in limbo - so he will not be available to feature for his new club on Saturday.
Both Vicente Iborra and Robert Huth are in doubt as they continue to work their way back to full fitness and will have to be evaluated to see if they can feature for this match, whilst Riyad Mahrez is still with the club after failing to secure a deadline day move away, and now Shakespeare will have to figure how to re-integrate him back in with the squad.
Chelsea
Chelsea stumbled on matchday one, but it seems like Antonio Conte's side are finally getting back on track. The Blues come into this game having recorded wins over Everton and Tottenham and are looking good to make it three wins in three over a depleted Leicester. Danny Drinkwater could potentially make an appearance agianst his former club after being brought in earlier this week, and Eden Hazard is another expected to feature in some capacity after linking up with his national team during the international hiatus. Another that could potentially play some part in this fixture is new signing Davide Zappacosta, brought in from Torino.
