The Argentinean wingman is an option for Los Blaugranas, considering that the moves for Dembelé & Coutinho have stalled.

If Neymar's exit to PSG shocked fans around the world for the massive fee paid to sign the Brazilian, Barcelona is ready to shock them again if one of their primary targets can't arrive to Camp Nou.

Spanish newspapers Marca and Sport revealed that Los Blaugranas are keen on adding Angel Di Maria to their roster if their efforts to sign Phillippe Coutinho become futile. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid ace would return to La Liga three years after leaving Los Blancos to join Manchester United, in what has been considered one of the worst transfers in EPL history.

His past as a Real Madrid player may raise some eyebrows, but Di María comes highly recommended by none other than Lionel Messi. According to both Spanish sources, "El Fideo" could be a solid alternative considering his friendship with Messi and Mascherano.

This is not the first time in which Angel Di Maria has been linked to Los Blaugranas, as the club has attempted to sign him in the two most recent summer transfer windows. The only setback to this negotiation would be having to sit down and talk with PSG's execs, following all the turmoil caused by Neymar's signing.

If this deal came through, Di María would become the 41st player to play for both Spanish giants. He would also become the ninth player in history to wear Real Madrid's jersey first and join Barcelona in a late stage of his career.
