The Mexican striker will face his former club this Sunday in what will be his return to the English top flight after three years.

Mexican striker Javier Hernández was officially unveiled as a West Ham player today, and he didn't want to waste the opportunity to discuss his feelings ahead of this Sunday's match against Manchester United.

The player, who spent four seasons with the Red Devils, admitted he's still thinking about what will happen if he scores against his former club.

"Imagine the emotion that I would have in that moment if I have the luck to score a goal. With my old club, with my old fans, and my old stadium so probably I can't celebrate.  But it would also be my first goal in a comeback with my new club that has confidence in me against my old club and old fans. So I don't know," Chicharito said.

The former Man United and Real Madrid man will surely try to fill the void for goals that hurt West Ham so much last season, as the Hammers had trouble all season long when it came to send the ball back into the net.

Hernández also admitted his desire to meet former coach and mentor Sir Alex Ferguson. Although the pair haven't spoken since he sealed his move back to the EPL, Chicharito knows that running into him at Old Trafford is possible. If he does, he would like that meeting to happen after he's helped his team secure a win.

"The only thing in my mind is if I start to have minutes on the pitch, it is to do as well as I can and deliver a performance," the player concluded.
