One thing that is for sure: should the Selecao ace decide to leave Barcelona for PSG, he would overtake Paul Pogba to become the world’s most expensive player. However, the Daily Mail write that the 25-year-old’s price tag could rise to a staggering £450m.
The first big cheque Les Parisiens will have the cut the Blaugrana is for the player’s release clause. That figure currently stands at £197m, and without triggering it, the Catalan giants will not be forced into doing business.

These huge figures could kill PSG’s move for Neymar. Maybe this is why Gerard Pique confidently tweeted “he stays” in regards to the Selecao sensation’s Camp Nou future.
