The Spanish striker will be unveiled in the next few hours at Stamford Bridge. The footballer has already left Real Madrid's camp in the U.S. to sign his contract.

Hours after extending Antonio Conte's contract with the Blues, the team landed the signing the Italian boss demanded from them. Following Lukaku's snub and eventual signing with Manchester United, Chelsea has agreed terms to sign Alvaro Morata for a reported £80M , with bonuses for objectives reached by the team.

According to Marca, the player has already left Real Madrid's training camp in the United States in order to fly to England and sign his contract. Terms of the deal, such as the contract's extension have been kept secret at the moment.

Curiously enough, it was Antonio Conte who convinced Morata to join Juventus three years ago, but the Spaniard never worked with Conte, as he took over as Italy's boss. Morata will also add more Spanish flavor to the Blues' squad, where he'll join fellow countrymen Cesar Azpilicueta, Cesc Fábregas, Marcos Alonso and Pedro Rodríguez.

Respected journalist Gianluca Di Marzio also made the deal public minutes ago.

With his signing, Morata will become the most expensive Spanish player of all time, surpassing the amount paid by Liverpool to sign Fernando Torres back in 2011.
