The Giallorossi have seen some major changes this summer, starting from the tactician's bench. Luciano Spalletti has moved on to Inter, and the capital based-club have brought in former midfielder Eusebio Di Francesco from Sassuolo to replace him. In addition, Roma have sold quite a few key players, including Mohamed Salah, Antonio Rudiger, and Leandro Paredes.
Whilst they have brought in the likes of young Turkish starlet Cengiz Under, as well as Lyon midfielder Maxime Gonalons and Mexican center back Hector Moreno, there are still some doubts among Roma fans as to whether these players will be able to fill the void left behind by players like Salah and Rudiger. This friendly could see all three feature for Di Francesco's side as he aims to prepare the team for their upcoming domestic and continental campaigns.
Roma come into this game having featured in two friendlies. The first saw the Lupi cruise to an 8-0 win over local side Pinzolo, and in the second, they earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Czech Republic outfit Slovacko.

Meanwhile, PSG have not been as active in the transfer market as teams like AC Milan, but Les Parisiens have still acquired the services of experienced defender Dani Alves - on a free transfer. The Brazilian was able to force his way out of Turin, but shocked many by opting to link up with Les Parisiens when it seemed like a deal with Manchester City had been completed.
And they have been linked with a mammoth move for Barcelona star Neymar - which will keep fans on their toes until the end of the summer transfer window arrives.
Unai Emery had a rather disappointing debut spell at the Parc des Princes, which saw PSG humiliated in the Champions League and fail to retain their Ligue 1 title. The ambitious, cash-rich club will be hoping to get things right this term, and for the International Champions Cup, have brought a very strong squad despite this just being a friendly.
However, the likes of Serge Aurier, Hatem Ben Arfa, and Grzegorz Krychowiak have been all left out, leading many to believe they are on their way out of the club. Meanwhile, despite trying to finagle a move away from Paris, Marco Verratti joins stars like Edinson Cavani and Angel Di Maria as part of the traveling party. The French giants have featured in just one friendly so far, and that resulted in a one-all draw against local side Paris FC.
