The Chilean ace, still on holiday after playing the FIFA Confederations Cup with La Roja, seems determined to look for an exit away from the North London side.

If Arsenal fans had a slight hope of keeping Alexis Sanchez beyond the upcoming season, they'd better start thinking about life without him.

The Chilean striker shared his views on what's next in his playing career with Radio Sport in his home country, and his words reveal that a deal to extend his stay with the Gunners is not in his radar.

"My idea is to play and win the Champions League, it is a dream I have had since I was little. The truth is that the decision doesn’t depend on me. I have made my decision, but now we wait for a response from Arsenal. It depends on them, I have to wait to know what they want,” Sánchez stated.

The Chilean striker's contract with the North London side ends next summer, and if a deal isn't signed before this winter, there's a very good chance for him to leave on a free transfer.

While Arsene Wenger keeps optimistic about a deal being reached soon, Manchester City seems to be in pole position to lure the striker away from the Emirates, even if the French boss has repeatedly stated that he will not sell Sánchez to one of their opponents in the EPL title race.
