When things got tough for the CONCACAF Gold Cup hosts, one of their rising talents delivered just in time to avoid a scare in the final game.
Jordan Morris nailed a second half brace for the USMNT en route to their first win of the competition, but their road to victory wasn't easy. It seemed like Arena's men were on a roll after going ahead thanks to Omar Gonzalez's effort and Morris' first goal of the evening.
Then again, Martinique fought back and leveled the game at two goals apiece. But that moment of glory for the small nation didn't last, as Morris fired another shot into the back of the net one minute after Johan Audel's equalizer, giving fans cause to celebrate.
Here's how Morris scored his first goal of the tournament.

But the game-winning goal was an absolute stunner, especially due to the build up, which included an effort by Morris himself.

For his efforts, Morris was named Man of the Match. His performance also helped to extend Bruce Arena's unbeaten streak since he took over as the USMNT's coach replacing Jurgen Klinsmann a few months ago.
