On Saturday, two huge Romelu Lukaku news emerged. First, his Man United move was confirmed by the Red Devils. Second, reports claiming the Belgian ace was arrested popped up.
This is according to TMZ Sports. The American news outlet claims that the 24-year-old was “arrested” by Los Angeles cops for “disturbing the peace”.

The Old Trafford-bound striker was not taken to the police station, nor was he formally booked. Instead, he was “merely given a citation”.
Lukaku is currently LA for holiday with pal and soon-to-be team-mate Paul Pogba. The former Chelsea ace’s first run-in with law enforcement came on July 2 after several nearby residents issued complaints.
Police paid the Premier League forward a visit six times demanding he keep the noise down. Lukaku did not follow orders and was thus arrested for a misdemeanor. Neither Everton nor Man United have issued a response on the 24-year-old’s run-in with the cops.
The attacker is expected to undergo a medical in LA before joining Mourinho’s men for the pre-season. The 20-time Premier League champions announced that a fee has been agreed on with Everton for their talisman forward, believed to worth £75m.
Once his medical and wages are out of the way, Lukaku will finally be able to dawn a Man United jersey after nearly signing for Chelsea.
