Porto fans will have one of their stars back next season, as Iker Casillas has put pen to paper to a new deal with the Dragons.

After weeks of speculation, the Spanish shot-stopper revealed the news to the world via his Twitter feed, as some rumors saw him leaving the Primeira Liga to join an EPL club.

"Very happy to keep on playing for Porto. We've got high hopes ahead of all upcoming challenges"

Casillas signed with Porto two years ago, following his exit from Real Madrid. Initially, he had waived his right to exercise a clause in his contract that guaranteed a third year with the Dragons, but he eventually decided to continue his career with the Dragons.
