Chelsea fans won't like this but old boy Romelu Lukaku is about to land at Old Trafford, according to transfer reports.

On Thursday morning, Manchester United pulled off a surprise as they reportedly got Everton to agree on a  £75 million deal for the services of Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku.

Sky Sports broke the news, further claiming that the 2016/17 EPL Golden Boot race runner-up will pass his medical before the end of the week so as to be ready for Man United's tour in the United States of America. Senior officials from Everton FC have already denied Sky Sports' announcement but Samuel Luckhurst of Manchester Evening News has added his voice to the transfer talk by tweeting the following:

"Raiola advised Pogba to join #mufc over Real Madrid last year. Probable he has done the same with Lukaku.

"#mufc also getting Lukaku for £25m less than #efc asking price (which was essetnially posturing). Great coup, given circumstances.

"Lukaku will also become fourth Mino Raiola client to join #mufc in successive summers after Ibrahimovic, Mkhitaryan and Pogba.

"#mufc insist Lukaku was 'main target', which is why they've dropped interest in Morata. Lukaku move not connected to Rooney deal."

Speaking of which, £230,000-a-week star Wayne Rooney is reportedly going the other way on a free transfer. The ex-Toffee striker has failed to impress current manager Jose Mourinho. The latter has picked Michael Carrick as the new Manchester United captain.
