Germany come into this game having beaten Australia, but it was far from a comfortable result for Joachim Low's side. Still, the last time die Mannschaft faced the Socceroos in this competition, it ended up being a high-scoring, closely contested affair that Germany managed to win 4-3. Furthermore, Low has opted to go with a younger squad as he looks ahead to finalize his team for the 2018 World Cup, so Germany are largely really just using this tournament as a trial run for the big event next year.
Still, Low may opt to make some changes. Bernd Leno could make way for Marc-Andre ter Stegen after conceding two goals, especially as die Mannschaft will hope to book their spot in the next round by picking up maximum points against the Copa America champions.
