Another Jorge Mendes man has been accused of tax fraud. The suspect this time is Jose Mourinho, as Spanish authorities announced that the Special One is being investigated.
The Portuguese tactician is accused of defrauding the government of £2.91 in taxes in 2011 and 2012. The Man United boss was Real Madrid’s manager during that time.

Information provided by Spain’s Tax Office tipped off prosecutors. The information provided appears to show Mourinho using shell companies in the Virgin Islands and Ireland to hide profits made from image rights.
Mourinho has not yet commented on these allegations. A judge will now decide whether to send this case to court or not.
This comes exactly a week after Cristiano Ronaldo, another Jorge Mendes man, was accused of tax fraud in Spain. The Real Madrid superstar denied the allegation and is now set to testify in the case on 31 July.
