The Italian boss has been linked with a return to Serie A, having reportedly grown frustrated with the Blues.

Despite winning the league in his first full season in England, Antonio Conte continues to be linked with a Chelsea exit. Recent reports claimed the Italian is keen on a return to Serie A, where he enjoyed tremendous success with Juventus.

However, according to Sky Sports, the manager is committed to staying on board at Stamford Bridge. Currently on holiday, the Blues are confident that Conte will return in July for the pre-season as planned.

The manager is believed to be frustrated with the Premier League champions over the lack of investment in the team. With Chelsea returning to the Champions League next season, the London giants have made no signings despite Conte having already identified his targets.

The hesitance to spend in the summer transfer window has left the manager angry at the club’s hierarchy.  With Matic and Costa linked with exits, Conte is keen on landing Tiemoue Bakayoko and Romelu Lukaku, but Chelsea haven’t made much progress.

The former Juventus boss has two more years on his Chelsea contract, but no extension has been agreed upon despite his stellar debut.
