The Portuguese ace wants to fellow starters out of the lineup in time for next season, according to reports out of Portugal.

Not all is well at Real Madrid. Although Los Blancos are on their way to La Liga and Champions League double, Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly demanded two of his team-mates be removed from the starting eleven over the summer.

This is according to Don Balon, writing that the Portuguese star has grown frustrated with Karim Benzema and Keylor Navas. The four-time Ballon d’Or winner has made the Madrid giants aware of his feelings.

The 32-year-old’s issue with his French team-mate is nothing personal – Cristiano, past the prime of his career, whishes to shift from the wing to take up the lone striker role. However, this could be difficult with Benzema being around.

The French forward has struggled to find the back of the net as often as in previous campaigns. As a result, he has been dropped in favor of Morata, but Cristiano believes he himself is the ideal man to replace Benzema.

The other man Cristiano wants gone is Keylor Navas. The Costa Rican has had a mixed season full of highs and lows, leading Ronaldo to believe Real Madrid need an upgrade. With Los Blancos being linked with David De Gea, the end of Navas could be near.
