Can Juventus again get the better of Lazio in a repeat of the 2015 final?

Juventus

Juventus were dealt a blow over the weekend as they lost 3-1 to Roma. Now in their second trip to this same ground in just a few days, Massimiliano Allegri will know that he can not afford to get things wrong this time. The Italian tactician is on track to guide Juve to a coveted Treble, but having seen their Scudetto party plans dashed, will now turn his attention to making sure that the Bianconeri head back to Turin with their hands on the Coppa Italia title.

Although Sami Khedira is still out, Allegri will field his strongest starting XI after rotating against Roma. That means players like Andrea Barzagli and Dani Alves will likely feature from the start, but there are major worries about the fitness of key attackers Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic, as both are dealing with injuries after the games against Monaco and Roma respectively. Nonetheless, recent reports indicate that both the Argentinian and the Croatian should be able to feature. Miralem Pjanic, meanwhile, is suspended for this game.

Lazio

Like Juventus, Lazio come into this game having lost over the weekend. Simone Inzaghi's men were on a roll, having beaten Roma 3-1 and Sampdoria in a ten-goal thriller, but stumbled against Fiorentina. It was certainly a surprise result as the Viola have been in awful form as of late, but regardless, it does not take anything away from the excellent season the Biancocelesti have had. They will be featuring in the Europa League next term, and Inzaghi also opted to rotate his squad as clearly his focus is on winning the Coppa Italia.

The Aquile are still missing first-choice shot-stopper Federico Marchetti for this game, who has been out for much of the season, and Inzaghi has concerns about the availability of midfielder Marco Parolo, who is in doubt for this fixture. Having lost twice to Juventus in Serie A this season, Lazio will hope to avoid making it a third defeat in front of their "home" crowd as Inzaghi seeks to win his first trophy since taking over at his former club at the start of last summer.
