Roma delay Juve's Scudetto party, Inter continue to fall, and Crotone keep their survival dream still alive. LiveSoccerTV.com looks at some of the talking points from this weekend's action.

It was billed as the biggest game of not just matchday 36, but arguably of the season. And Roma vs. Juventus certainly did not disappoint for calcio fans. Plenty of goals were in store in a end-to-end tie that saw the Giallorossi achieve just what they wanted: to delay Juve's Scudetto party. Whilst the Lupi aren't going to prevent the Bianconeri from making it a sixth straight Scudetto, at the very least, they prevented them from celebrating the league title in the Eternal City.

And Crotone's renaissance continues to endure...but is it too little, too late for the Squali?

Without further ado, let's take a look at some of the talking points from this weekend.

1. Can Crotone become Italy's "Leicester"?

Not in terms of winning the Scudetto, obviously...but can the Squali pull off what would be one of the greatest escapes seen in Serie A? Up until around the end of March, many had written Crotone off. The debutants were bottom of the table and looking set for relegation.

That is, until they beat Chievo 2-1 and since then, they have not looked back. Their run has definitely gotten them quite a few more fans as Serie A observers certainly love a come-back story.

Well, most fans. The only ones who definitely are not happy about Crotone's recent success are obviously Empoli supporters. The Azzurri have been awful all season, but were cruising along and safety seemed a guarantee - until recently. Crotone's recent resurgence has forced them to wake up from their nap and actually start playing football, which has seen them improve dramatically. But having lost to Cagliari, they no longer have that comfortable double-digit cushion. In fact, it's one point that separate Empoli from Crotone, and now Genoa have some serious worries as well.

So, can Crotone move into 17th, which will ensure their survival? Unfortunately, they're facing Juventus next...which could see this excellent run come an end.

Just how impressive have the Serie A new-boys been, though? Have a look:

2. Inter's misery appears to have no end

Four. That is the number of games the Nerazzurri have lost in a row. That includes a shock 1-0 reversal to struggling side Genoa and most recently a 2-1 defeat at home to Sassuolo. And it was not too long ago that they actually lost on the road to Crotone in what was one of the biggest upsets of this Serie A season.

The club opted to sack their manager yet again, with Stefano Pioli making way. It hasn't made any difference, and Inter fans certainly will want this season to end, pronto.

How bad have Inter been as of late? So terrible that they now have matched a rather unwanted record:

3. Atalanta can certainly count on Andrea Conti

A truly versatile defender, Andrea Conti has been quite instrumental in La Dea's impressive season to date. And when he's not contributing to keeping opponents from scoring, he's grabbing a few goals here and there, too:

That stat will probably surprise most people, especially those who obviously don't follow Serie A on a regular basis!

4. No problems on the road for Napoli

With 86 goals, Napoli are the highest scoring side in Serie A. The Partenopei have some ways to go to catch the likes of Monaco as well as Barcelona, both of whom have netted over 100 goals in Ligue 1 and LaLiga. Still, they're certainly no slouches, either. Impressively, Napoli have actually netted more goals in their travels than at home, and in doing so, matched a long-standing record:

They're in action on the road against Sampdoria in the final game of this season, so they are definitely set to break Juve's haul from over 50 years ago.

5. Torino thankful they won't have to see Napoli again this season...

The Granata have had a solid term, and on matchday 35 became the first team to hold Juve to a draw at the Juventus Stadium. However, any good feelings after their decent result from the Derby della Mole quickly faded as they were humiliated 5-0 by Napoli.

In total, they have shipped ten against the Partenopei, which is more goals conceded than against any other opponent this season. In fact, that is the joint-most they have ever conceded in a single season against one solitary foe!

How the race for the Capocannoniere is shaping up...

With two more games left to go, here's how the battle for the Capocannoniere looks. Edin Dzeko, despite not featuring against Juve due to a calf problem, is still on top of the chasing pack. Andrea Belotti failed to score during Torino's 5-0 humiliation at the hands of Napoli, whilst Dries Mertens added to his growing total by grabbing one goal for the Partenopei.
