A crucial date has arrived in La Liga, as Real Madrid & Barcelona will be forced to play at the same time to determine this season's champion.

La Liga's next-to-last matchday has arrived, and things are so close that seven of this weekend's games will be played at the same time.

Two games will be played on Saturday, involving teams that have nothing left to play for and the Shame Showdown between Osasuna and Granada, the worst teams of the competition. Sunday will be packed with eight games, with most of the action taking place right after noon in the U.S.

Real Madrid faces the toughest opponent of their final games, as they meet against Sevilla at the Bernabeu. Sampaoli's men ended their unbeaten run back in February, but they seem to have lost the mojo that had them fighting for the title weeks ago. If Los Blancos can keep up the good work they've shown recently, the absences of Pepe, Bale and Carvajal won't diminish their chances of success

At the same tiem, Barcelona battles Las Palmas in the other tie that could decide La Liga. Los Blaugranas have walked out with the win in three of their five most recent games against the Yellow and blue side, and keeping that trend will maintain their chances of winning La Liga intact.
