Monaco teenager Kylian Mbappe is on everyone’s radar. The 18-year-old has grabbed the headlines in the Champions League and Ligue 1. As a result, it will come as a huge blow to many suitors that the Frenchman has already agreed to a summer move.
According to Marca, Real Madrid have already won the race for the starlet. Los Blancos have been linked with a mega-money move for the youngster, but the competition they faced resulted in uncertainty.
The Madrid-based paper, though, claim that the forward has agreed to join the Spanish giants in a move that could cost Zidane’s side £85m. This will come as a huge blow to the Premier League, with Man City, Man United, and even Arsenal interested in Mbappe.
PSG were also in the mix, but Los Blancos was too difficult to turn down. The teenager was won over by Zizou. The World Cup winner’s interest in the Monaco forward helped the attacker change his mind on a Monaco stay.
His Ligue 1 employers are the only remaining hurdle. They are financially stable enough to turn down offers and keep Mbappe for another season, but the player’s desire to leave on top of a world-record bid could force their hands.
