Crotone's battle for survival wages on, Juventus frustrated, Fiorentina suffers shock loss, and both Milan clubs drop points...again. LiveSoccerTV.com takes a look at all the talking points from matchday 34.

This weekend's installment of Serie A certainly did not disappoint. There were shock losses, namely Fiorentina effectively ending their European hopes with a shock loss to a Palermo side who had won just one game at home all season. There was frustration for the bigger sides, with Juventus held at Atalanta and Crotone continuing their surprising uptick in form by drawing with AC Milan. And the Inter vs. Napoli clash did not have the goals many expected, but it was still an interesting match nonetheless.

Let's have a look at everything that happened across Italy this past round.

1. Napoli enjoying their trips to the fashion capital

In the biggest game of matchday 35, the Partenopei came out on top thanks to a goal from Jose Maria Callejon. That result now sees Napoli just a point behind Roma and it's definitely going to be very interesting to see who earns that automatic Champions League berth for next season.

Not only are Napoli Serie A's highest scoring side, but they also achieved something they haven't done in over 80 years:

2. Weaving his magic to devastating effect

He might not have scored, but Napoli fans will definitely be happy with Lorenzo Insigne's performance against Inter:

3. Random, but did you know that...

4. Lazio finally getting out of Roma's shadow

The Biancocelesti have had their share of frustration when it comes to playing their bitter cross-town rivals. However, this season, Lazio are asserting themselves. They dumped Roma out of the Coppa Italia, and on Sunday, overpowered them to win the Derby della Capitale 3-1.

Notably, attacker Balde Diao Keita became the first Lazio player since Roberto Mancini in November 1998 to net a brace against Roma.

To put that in perspective, when Mancini achieved this, Keita was only three years old! Juve and Napoli fans may want to thank him for his brace, as it effectively ended Roma's hopes at winning the Scudetto and gives the Partenopei a good shot at finishing in second.

5. A rising star in the making?

Ever heard of Patrik Schik? Well, the Czech international is reportedly on the radar of numerous clubs - both in Italy and abroad. Juventus and Inter have been those mentioned with interest in the 21-year-old Sampdoria striker, and Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea, and Manchester United have been mentioned in some quarters of the press.

Schik may not be in the top ten in terms of goals, but he does have some bragging rights over the other attackers in the league, perhaps:

How the race for the Capocannoniere is shaping up...

Still tied between Roma's Edin Dzeko and Torino's Andrea Belotti, and there are four others who still are within a shout of clinching the Capocannoniere. For the first time in ages, there are six players with 20+ goals:
