The 2-0 defeat to Spurs was a huge blow to Arsenal's top-four hopes, but there was disappointment for Man City and Man United as well.

One game is yet to be played in round 35 of the Premier League – Watford vs. Liverpool – but most of the action has been wrapped up. There was disappointment for three teams fighting to make the top four.

Man United and Man City drew against Swansea and Middlesbrough, respectively – games they should have won. Arsenal lost 2-0 in the last north London derby at White Hart Lane – a game the Gunners needed to win.

Elsewhere, victories for Chelsea and Spurs means the gap between first and second remains at four points. Here’s how the table looks.

The end of St Totteringham's Day

It was fun while it lasted – for Arsenal fans. Since the 1994/95 season, the Gunners finished ahead of Tottenham in the league, with "St Totteringham's Day” being the day that Spurs officially can't overtake their rivals.

Not this season, however. With Spurs’ 2-0 win over Wenger’s side, Arsenal will finish behind their north London rivals for the first time in 22 years.

Mourinho reaches two feats – one bad, one good

Man United drew at home to Swansea, sharing points in the 1-1 tie. It was their 14th draw of the season – the 10th at Old Trafford. This saw the Special One reach two feats.

The good one…

He set the record for the longest unbeaten streak at Man United in a single season (25 games).

And the bad one…

He is only the second Red Devils boss to reach double figures for home league draws. One more and he’ll match the record of 11 from 1980/81.

Sunderland relegated for a fourth time

It was inevitable; Sunderland were going to be relegated this season. Having spent 238 of the 259 in 2016/17 in the bottom three, it was just a matter of time.

But the Black Cats have suffered the drop for a fourth time in their history, becoming the club to be relegated the most number of times.
