The red devils will have to sweat it out against rivals City at the Etihad Stadium following a long list of injuries.

Manchester United will play rivals Manchester City in the Premier League later today. The red devils will be without six of their first-team members due to injury.

Top of the list is their top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who twisted his knee last Thursday in the Europa League against Anderlecht at Old Trafford. The Swedish star, who has scored 28 goals from 46 appearances for the English giants, is expected to sit out for the rest of the season.

Paul Pogba, on the other hand, picked up a muscular injury during the Premier League clash with Burnley at Turf Moor last weekend. He could be replaced by Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini or Ashley Young.

Fan -favourite Juan Mata will also miss due to a groin problem. The Spaniard recently had surgery and will have to wait a little bit longer to recover.

Defender Marcos Rojo has a torn ACL and is not expected to return anytime soon. He could be replaced by Daley Blind.

The defensive duo of Phil Jones and Chris Smalling will also miss the derby due to injuries. They were recently criticised by Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho for being too 'catious' with their recovery process, thus extending their days on the sidelines.
