Unfortunately, their odds of beating Leicester could be damaged by the absence of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The Englishman has excelled in his new role as an attacking-minded full-back in the 3-4-3 formation, but left Wembley in the 2-1 win in crutches.
Wenger revealed that it was mere precautions, with the Englishman set to undergo late tests. Mustafi is another doubt, having missed the club’s last two games. However, in his absence, Gabriel and Holding have excelled.
Shakespeare has a few worries of his own. Captain Wes Morgan and Islam Slimani will both miss the London trip, a huge blow to last season’s champions.
