Another round of the Premier League went by. Although several of the league’s top teams weren’t in action due to the FA Cup semi-finals, fans were still treated to exciting action.
Man United traveled to Burnley in their first game after both Rojo and Ibrahimovic picked up serious injuries. The Red Devils, however, proved they are not a one-man show by winning 2-0 to lessen the gap between them and Man City.
Liverpool’s hold on third spot weakened, as they fell to a surprise home loss on Sunday. They welcomed Crystal Palace to Anfield, with Benteke scoring against his former employees. Here’s how the table looks like.

Mourinho close to matching Sir Alex Ferguson’s record
On Sunday, Man United beat Burnley 2-0. It proved that the Red Devils can march on in the absence of top-sorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Anthony Martial opened the scoring before Rooney doubled the lead, reaching an impressive feat which we will discuss next. This means the Old Trafford side have gone 23 games (W13, D10) without losing.
It’s just one unbeaten match short from Sir Alex Ferguson’s record of 24 in 2010/11.
Rooney’s impressive goalscoring feat
Remember that Wayne Rooney goal we mentioned earlier? Not only did it give the 20-time Premier League champions safety in the Turf Moor trip, it saw the Englishman reach an impressive record.
149 – Only Alan Shearer (190) has scored in more different PL games than Wayne Rooney (149 – level with Frank Lampard & Andrew Cole). Habit. pic.twitter.com/HOAi1hCoHP

Crystal Palace: The new Anfield experts
The Eagles traveled to Anfield on Sunday, earning an excellent 2-1 win over the Reds. That victory lifted them into 12th, ensuring their survival in the English top-flight.
It also saw Sam Alardyce’s side become the first club to win three consecutive Anfield games since Chelsea in 2005. And it also saw former Liverpool striker Benteke reach this feat.
5 - Christian Benteke has scored more PL goals at Anfield as a visiting player (5), than he did as a Liverpool player (4). Mindset.
