The Spanish side admitted they won't make it easy for La Albiceleste if they want to lure their tactician away from Andalucian soil.

If Argentina wants to sign Jorge Sampaoli, Sevilla will give them a hard time.

In a press release issued earlier today, Sevilla showed their outrage over the alleged contract talks between La Albiceleste and their tactician. Sampaoli is under his first year of contract with Los Hispalenses, and this is not the first time in which Argentina has tried to lure the coach away from them.

Earlier this season, Sampaoli was tipped as the frontrunner to take over the team's coaching duties following Gerardo Martino's resignation. The former Chile coach decided to honor his contract and stayed with Sevilla, but this time things might not end the same way for the Spaniards.

"If the information we've received turns out to be true, Sevilla wants to express its shock for the disrespectful approach taken by Argentina's National Team to try and convince our coach to end his contract with the club," the press release states.

The document also states that Argentina will face the consequences of their actions if they continue their quest to sign Sampaoli in such disrespectful way

"The club will fight to defend its rights. The Argentine Football Association needs to understand that Jorge Sampaoli is still under contract with the club until June 2018," the press release concludes.

The Argentinean boss has always stated his desire to coach La Albiceleste, emphasizing on how relevant it would be to manage Lionel Messi. Despite his wishes, it seems like Sevilla will not give in, as the battle to keep him coaching Los Hispalenses is about to begin.
