The Red Devils have struggled to find the back of the net regularly this season.

Man United’s goalscoring woes are no hidden secret. Out of all the top seven clubs in the Premier League, the Red Devils have found the back of the net the least number of times.

Mourinho’s men have scored only 43 times. To put that into perspective, that is a whopping 23 goals less than rivals Liverpool.  The Special One has even spoken out about his team’s failure to score and overreliance on Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Speaking ahead of their clash with Sunderland, Jose hinted that they might move for former striker Javier Hernandez. The Mexican is linked with a move to Major League Soccer, but could leap at an Old Trafford return.

“I give a simple example – in the way we play at Old Trafford, in the way we dominate opponents, in the way we play in the box, I think Chicharito would have scored 20 goals easy.

“Even coming off the bench for the last 10 or 20 minutes, he would have 20 goals."
