The Brazilian striker could make a return from injury earlier than expected.

Man City fans who feared they won’t get another glimpse of Gabriel Jesus playing for their club until next season have been given hope. According to Pep Guardiola, the Brazilian could feature again before this campaign ends.

The striker fractured a metatarsal bone in his right foot back in mid February. The injury has kept him on the sidelines, ending his brilliant start which saw him score three times in his first four games.

The player, who recently turned 20, made a return to training. Speaking ahead of their trip to Chelsea, Pep admitted that he was hopeful of having Jesus back for the last games.

The Brazilian could feature in the FA Cup final, should the Citizens get past semi-final opponent Arsenal.
