Hamsik joined Napoli in 2007 and is on the verge of equaling and even breaking Diego Maradona's record.

Napoli attacking midfielder Marek Hamsik scored the equalizer for the Light Blues when they faced rivals Juventus at Stadio San Paolo in Naples on April 2. The 29-year-old, who joined the club 10 years ago, has so far made 437 appearances in all competitions.

And his equalizer against the Old Lady was his 111th goal for Napoli. He now needs to score four more goals to equal Diego Maradona's record of 115 goals for the Serie A giants.

The Argentine legend, who spent seven years at the Italian outfit between 1984 to 1991, only needed 259 games to score 115 goals. That was an average of a goal every two games.
