Bastian Schweinsteiger's first press conference with MLS giants Chicago Fire had one embarrassing moment many people won't forget anytime soon.

Immediate former Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger was officially unveiled as Chicago Fire player on Wednesday. During the event, a bizarre question from a journalist to the former Bayern Munich man let everyone across the room dumbfounded, including Bastian himself.

While receiving and answering questions from the battery of journalists who had swarmed the much-anticipated press conference, a weird question popped up. An unidentified journalist asked the veteran midfielder if he could help the club win the World Cup.

Bastian's confused reaction summed up the mood of everyone who heard that question. And when asked to rephrase it, the journalist repeated the same question and with even greater emphasis on the World Cup. It took the intervention of a club official to explain to the journalist that Chicago Fire participate in the MLS Cup, not the World Cup.
