The argument against the 31-year-old is he is selfish and throws tantrum when things aren’t going his way. While the earlier is debatable, one childhood team-mate has proved that the latter has long been a trait of the three-time Ballon d’Or winner.
Childhood friend Ricardo Santos gave insight into how Cristiano, claiming that the Euro 2016 winner’s nickname was “crybaby”. The reason: “When he lost and when other kids didn’t pass the ball to him he used to cry.”
